The Cat Did It. I Saw It.

When I walked into our living room, I discovered that our expensive paisley sofa pillow was in shreds.

I asked our teenage son whether he knew which of our cats was responsible.

"It was Sammy," he replied.

"How do you know?" I asked in return.

"I watched him," he said.

And that was enough.
